Welcome to 2018! I am so excited for what this year will bring as I move into my Virtual Assistant business full time!
I actually don’t make New Years resolutions anymore, instead I like to set goals for myself & my businesses. Personally, I feel like New Years resolutions more often than not end up on the forgotten pile after a few weeks.
I wanted to share three of my goals with you today. Whilst I will be setting other goals for myself & my businesses these are my main three goals for 2018.
Have successful businesses that will allow me to continue to be self-employed.
I started my Virtual Assistant business back in July because I wanted to make sure it would be viable before I committed to it full time. Based on the response I have received since launching, I am very confident this will be a successful venture . However you do have to be realistic! I will be giving myself a year and reassessing to see if this will be viable going forward.
Be more confident in myself and stop worrying about what people think.
I am very bad at this and am constantly worried about other people’s judgements on what I am doing. The only thing that this achieves is added stress to I’ll be making a concerted effort to stop this in 2018.
Practice yoga and meditation everyday even if it is only just for 10 minutes.
As I’ll be self employed this year I am going to be ensuring I look after myself to prevent burn out. I love what I do but that means I am always thinking / doing things for all my businesses and blogs all the time (I am on ‘holidays’ as I write this!) For me taking even a small portion out of my day to practice these will be so important for my mental and physical health.
